September 1, 2014 - I bought a case of this back when I was a club member (and Miner wines were the largest % in my cellar). Under screw cap. Opened for last day of summer pool party.

Still bright and fresh, with peach and pear fruit hints. We are serving icy cold, and it is both refreshing and reminds me of why I love Viognier.

I think it was the 2002 Miner Viognier that my wife described as "a liquid kiss." Yeah. That was it.

July 29, 2013 - Drinking brilliantly. Floral notes on nose, unctuous mouth feel. Stone fruit and minerality with the right balance of acid. We powered thru the bottle at lunch.

February 11, 2013 - Tasting terrific, reminding me of the amazing 2000. Restrained honeysuckle and peach/pear, with the acidity a wine like this requires. Very good with a fennel pollen pasta.

November 22, 2012 - Great florals on the nose, viscous feel. White fruit. This is how I remember Miner Vignier. Terrific with vegetable soup and even better for sipping.

June 23, 2012 - Definitely detect tropical fruits on the nose, pineapple specifically. Still good body with a creamy, buttery finish. Really enjoyed this with our BBQ pork chops. Drink up soon though.
