August 17, 2021 - Color: deep purple, suggestive of full body; which is the case. Slight hint of bricking yet wine tastes lively. Welli ntegrated tannins with nice acid/dark fruit balance. The nose opened up after an hour suggesting earthy/forest floor. Well done, Hit all the right notes for me. and outlasting suggested drinking window; yet I wouldn’t hold much longer. 92+

August 15, 2021 - Very dark red color, 3mm clear meniscus. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 3 hours. This opened and improved over the first hour in glass showing more damp earthiness over time, portabella mushroom, black currants, plum, pepper. The palate is full bodied, black currant, kirsch, plum, bold pepper notes, damp earth, wood spice and pleasant medium grained tannins.
