  April 26, 2012 - Luckily not corked and over the hill like some reviewers have experienced. Dark and thick, but oh so delightful bottle. Smooth finish like an aged red should be.

Had both bottles in rapid succession and both had turned (completely -- round the corner, down the road, across the dale, and to the cemetary). I had purchased the bottles from a cellarer from whom I have purchased other wines of this era (which other wines were in good shape). This leaves me with the notion that I just held too too long. Sad.

  April 17, 2010 - Drinking great. May not have a lot left. Good fruit. Bacon, leather, mocha, ... Nice finish.

  June 9, 2007 - I brought 2 bottles of this to a dinner party. Great wine (as always)! Decanted 2 hours and it drank like silk. Perfect wine for the filet mignons we grilled. Perfect ballance of hevay, dark fruits and tannins. Long finish! Drinking very well now, but still had another 1-2 years left in it.
