June 6, 2023 - Beautiful. When I last drank this wine back in 2010, I underestimated the wine that it would become. It's not showy, but it's everything a person could want from a Barbaresco.

Wine becomes a little deeper by the fourth night open, a little more complete, and its energy has not flagged a bit. That said, the nose is more interesting than the palate, where it shows little complexity, and I'm not sure it never will, although I'll still hold my last bottle for 5 years.
