January 31, 2015 - a bit tired but still alive

December 14, 2011 - Gold color. On the nose: orange peel, butter, honey, tropical fruit and some oak. Long finish but acidity is a bit lacking. Drink up!

June 11, 2011 - Not so made in Italy (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): Blind we would have picked this as an Ermitage Blanc. Gold in colour, with a marsanne feel to it, lush long. Honeynotes and vanilla, glycerin.
Very interesting as the younger Cervaros feel more burgandian this older one felt so ermitage. Veyr interesting but the acidity and vitaity is towards the end in this wine and it feels like its best years are behind it.Still very interestin. 90-91, drink now

July 24, 2008 - Wonderful wine! Ages beautifully...too bad most people drink it way too early. Pineapple, tropical fruits, creamy vanilla and caramel, hints of apricot, balanced acidity to keep everything under control and nice mineral backbone.

September 28, 2007 - Open at dinner with friends cellared in my cellar since the release. The colour is a nice mature golden yellow similar a sweet wine.At the nose is full of life with in evidence dry fruits(peanuts), dry flowers, orange peel, apricot, vanilla and butter. In the mouth is roud, nice acidity silki tannins and a long persistance.
A great italian chardonnay!!!Pay attention not to serve too cool, 13/14 degrees will be perfect.Besides a perfect food matching wine.At his peak now but can be cellared some more years yet.
