Community Tasting Notes 2

December 19, 2008 - aromas of apples pears and other white fruit. Light on the aromatics. Bold acidity that lingers for 30 seconds. Never seemed to truly wake up. A nice wine but not at the next level. Maybe another year will help the complexity awake.

June 28, 2008 - Subtle notes of pear and apple on the nose. Initially a soft and creamy textured wine, putting its delicate fruit flavors to the front; an interesting element of powdered stone at mid palate, and a late arriving burst of mineral and acidity on the finish. A little peat was detected as well, along the lines of a Laphroaig. Low alcohol at 12.5% and a good buy for $17.
