  November 29, 2013 - Inky black. Nose of leather and spice with a hint of blackberry. Wonderfully balanced mouthfeel; the leather and spice hint upon tasting with the blackberry playing with dark cherry overtones of the grapes. Not feeling bad about still having another bottle in the cellar.

  October 23, 2009 - Dark & rich garnet color with a very inviting nose of muted barnyard floor, cassis & raspberries.
  
  Wonderful complex palate of pencil lead, blackberry, black cherry, cola, cedar all wonderfully balanced in full cedar note tannins and a long wonderful finish.
  
  This has gotten much better and in my mind in its prime. Wonderful QPR!

  February 7, 2009 - Heavy oak early that disipated over the evening. A good wine that pairs well with food. Was not as good the second night.
