November 15, 2012 - Perfectly mature burgundy. Fully developed flavors, no hard edges. Notes of soy and hoisin. Smoke, dark cherries, and iron. Great stuff.

October 8, 2011 - Colour a decent reddish brown but a orangey rim. This was a pop and pour. The nose speaks Rousseau; slightly candied with strong cherry notes. On the palate initially, good weight and balance with integrated tanins and a smooth finish. Good secondary development and complexity. Unfortunately, the acidity (the sour notes) became more pronounced over the half hour, more pertinently eclipsing the fruits. This wine needs drinking up.
