Community Tasting Notes 3

June 4, 2011 - My last bottle. Was more similar to first then second. Was enjoyable on opening, but not outstanding. With a couple hours of air, this really opened up with red fruits, medium finish.

April 4, 2010 - I'm downgrading this a bit from previous tasting. This is very easy drinking, with loads of fruit and some smoke, but it was one-dimensional with a short finish. Didn't seem to improve with air.

August 19, 2009 - Drank at a Goldschmidt tasting. Very rich merlot, smoky with lots of oak, cherry, and caramel. Very dense but smooth. Nice medium to long finish. Had a range of flavors I'm more use to in cabs. Great QPR at $17.
