April 20, 2020 - "a blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Carignane." Low neck fill. Deep garnet color in glass almost like ink but with faint browning on rims. Concentrated black cherry/chocolate bouquet. Tons of ripe fruit on palate which supports the 15.5% alcohol. Sweet ripe fruit with warm tannins in finish. Lots of sediment and sludge. Old style wine making at its best. At peak but will hold a few years.

November 22, 2009 - drank 1 1/2 years ago. HUGE fruit bomb--very extracted--almost like a cough syrup but not in an unpleasant way. Unique and definately stood up to the other big zins drank that night. Would like to try one more time. Not for everyone--but we all enoyed

February 12, 2005 - Fruit explosion! Wonderful mix of fresh cherries & glycerine with a long finish. Aroma strong enough to knock your head back. Maybe too extracted for some, but I'd buy more if I could find it.
