December 30, 2022 - Megeve style, served from a magnum, pairing with some crazy haute Savoie cheese. Yes cheese rulez. Medium ruby color. Dusty berries, mushroom, some white pepper, vanilla and white truffles on the nose. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, Med tannins, Med flavor intensity and med finish. Vanilla, slight note of capsicum, red dusty berries, white truffle and a light touch of white pepper. Subtle. Glamorous. Megeve style then.

March 28, 2014 - Nose like a Vosne-Romanee, but more tannic than one would expect (in a delightful way, not hard or harsh). This is a very beautiful wine, and an exceptional 2006. Beautiful now, but could be sublime in the future. One bottle left: what to do? If I can keep my hands off it I should try it in 10 years.
