January 30, 2021 - This bottle performed similarly to the first bottle, including just a bit of taint. It wasn't there all the time but it was noticeable and disappointing.

This bottle didn't have quite the grip of the first bottle but it did develop fine-grained acidity after 2 hours of air. If it didn't have that my score would have been at least 2 points higher. I am not feeling optimistic about buying additional bottles.

December 31, 2020 - From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had a deep yellow, light gold center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose was quite funky at first and showed some taint. This funk mostly blew off but unfortunately, some remained. In addition, it emanated dried apricot, citrus, honey, and minerals.

In the mouth, this was refined at first with subtle acidity. After 40 minutes or so the wine developed a hole in the mid-palate. After an hour and a half it came together to be impressive. There was no taint in the mouth and it was more focused on citrus and light honey flavors. The fine grained acidity and stone flavors made the finish go on for a minute+.

The mouth here is so good that this wine would be 95 or so without the taint. I hope the next bottle doesn't have it. For now 92
