June 9, 2009 - Chilled, popped and poured. Golden yellow, clear rim. Loads of lychee nuts on nose, some Japanese white peach, bit of lilac and acetone. Lychees continue on palate with quince and minerals. It's medium weight, but really quite flabby. Just no acidity to give it any crispness. Also finishes short and a tad bitter. Underperformer for a strong vintage.
