December 20, 2010 - Loved this wine. At first sip it reminded me of a mini version of a Dumal Chard. Creamy, plush w/ oak, butterscotch and burn barrel taste (smoke). The mouth feel is no close to Dumal but I get in a side by side most would not notice. Decent finish w/ some acid. Again, nothing like Dumal but in the wheelhouse. A great purchase and the best chard I have had in many months. I got 2 more and will grab more when WL runs another FS on this item.

March 18, 2010 - It's like leaving an old friend. Both smiles and tears are in order. I'm now down to my last bottle of the 06, having just opened this one. Though it's supposed to be near the end of it's life, I've got to tell you -- it's still got lively fruit on the nose and palate, but the smoothness and integration have only improved with time. . Luscious is the word that comes to mind. Thanks, old friend.
