January 18, 2013 - Wow' from the get go! Huge tertiary perfume jumped from the glass…so complex. Red fruits, underbrush, sois bois. Savory silky palate with very nice balance, nice depth and minerality. Over an hour or two, this wine kept getting better and better. The tart finish seemed to go on and on.

January 18, 2010 - I knnow... A 1964 Gevrey? Remoissenet Pere & Fils Bottle #000771. Amazing. Opens with a beautiful, soft bouquet and gets bigger. A little alchohol on the front, but just for a minute or so, and then the bottle got better and better over a couple of hours as we savoured every bit. My last of a case and I figured it wasn't getting any better... and it didn't need to.
