November 26, 2020 - Opened this for Thanksgiving. Paired beautifully with our turkey. The cork was really showing its age, I am glad I shared this special wine with family now during this stressful year.

April 15, 2018 - An absolutely splendid bottle. Complex aromatics of smoke, beef stock, root vegetables and black earth. It is sweet, vinous and lacy in the mouth. It is only-mid-weight but balance and proportion are impeccable. Savoury flavours linger for a long time after swallowing.

April 7, 2016 - Has a nose of fresh strawberries, earth and meat. It is sweet and generous in the mouth with plenty of savoury nuance. There's some decaying plant matter and the finish is fresh.

April 25, 2015 - Has some compost and earth development notes. Really sweetened up in the glass and flexed its muscles. It had a heart of liqueur cherry and all sorts of floral nuance. It was velvety with good volume and lovely proportion. It is a burg that is drinking pretty damn close to its apogee and was utterly delicious.
