March 13, 2008 - golden yellow, apricot even pineapple. Delicious with Chinese

January 22, 2007 - Pale yellow coloring as its poured, yet still looked refined sitting in the glass, not thin and watery. Hints of lemon and floral, but citrus and grass dominate. Clean and crisp across the palate with a refreshing finish that seems to hang on. An excellent white for any event.

    April 20, 2006 - WIML89,NOWA,WS90

Tasted April 20, 2006 at and offline at Danielle’s Osteria in Dallas, TX. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Dark straw color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Light notes of grapefruit, grass, ligonberry and a touch of acacia flowers. Mild flavors of gooseberry, lime and persimmon. Still drinkable but I’d drink up A.S.A.P. Value is acceptable.

June 28, 2005 - First Impression: Beautiful even smooth golden color. Very inviting appearance. When swirled it feels heavy and thick.

Nose is filled with citrus fruits- mainly grapefruit. The palette is definately grapefruit-y, with a soft core of butteryness hidden below all the citrus high notes. There is an instant when a mouthfull of this Sauv Blanc feels carbonated on the sides of the tip of the tongue, which lingers faintly. There is perhaps a slight hint of galangal root- this would go great with vietnamese food or thai food, to accent or mirror some of the floral and spicy flavors, or it may go equally well with something like potatoes roasted with tarragon, where the floral richness of the herb is given a little kick in the pants by the citrus acidity that this wine so prominantly features.

I like the sweetness/tartness balance in this one, and the herbaceous/grassy notes in the nose. Good food wine. All positives- 87 points.
