May 6, 2012 - Very similar to the fanucchi road but more powerful, especially on the finish. I preferred the finesse of the fanucchi to the intensity of the haywire but the haywire was still an awesome wine

January 22, 2010 - Dark purple; beautiful nose of fruit and oak that just makes you want to eat it; amazingly deep and pure flavors of zinfandel, but not overwhelmed by the alcohol; one of the best I've had.
