May 23, 2013 - This was better than expected. Muted aromas of cherry, notes of spice, cedar, and earth. The wine had a nice bright red color and tasted of low key cherry and cranberry up front, then finishes medium long with more red fruits, earth, tea leaves and subtle cedar spice with smooth tannins and overall tasted Burgundian. Unfortunately it just didn't hit that next level to be outstanding, but a good wine nonetheless, drink now and to 2015.
