January 16, 2005 - The WS did not think too much of this (86) even when it was within their drinking window of 2002. I suppose I should read the reviews before I buy these things on sale. It probably was a very nice wine a few years ago and in a style I like very much. WS complained of bitterness but I like that in a Rhone wine. But now it has lost all sense of style and crispness. It's not unpleasant, just not any character left and is sort of bland.
