August 28, 2022 - Deep golden, verging on rust in color, notes of honey, apricot, butterscotch, golden delicious apple and chanterelles. Tangy acid balances juicy sweetness, yielding flavors of slightly bitter lychee, melon, apple and Meyer lemon. Presently at a mature but good drinking point. Best suited to more delicately flavored foods.

June 6, 2022 - Alongside with the Batard from Sauzet and Ramonet. Beautiful. Fruit, freshness, acidity and length. definitely winning from batard from Ramones this time.

May 2, 2022 - Pausing for the Cause 2022 (Chicago, IL): From magnum. Not premoxed (which is rare for 2007 Boillot). Generously oaked and thickly textured, with lots and lots of orchard fruit on the nose and palate here. In this format, this wine seems like it still has ages to go.

February 19, 2022 - Lemon, honeysuckle, stone, long finish, while mature, no premix.

January 5, 2022 - A superb birthday dinner (Amsterdam): A golden colour, spices, the acidity shows a certain age, refined, recognizable bitters, starting a bit unbalanced, but with air the wine ameliorated considerably. Don't wait with this elegant 1er cru.
