September 21, 2019 - Tasted blind at Noreetuh in NYC. Classically Riesling nose of whipped cream, lime zest, and wet slate. Not too much petrol here but it’s no worse for it. Palate is creamy but balanced with good limey acidity and a clearly spatlese body. Maybe a little on the simple side but very, very delicious.

December 8, 2018 - Flabby best describes this. Bland moderate sweetness, but lacking acidity. Not my usual experience with Prum wines. Steely nose with a hint of petrol.

February 10, 2017 - A little flabby but Improved with air. Very good but not matching the crystalline purity or balance of wehlener 2007.

July 31, 2016 - This was decanted to a carafe which was kept approx 3 hours in the fridge. Moderately sweet with a lively, playful acidity, this wine is in a very good spot currently. Not a big Spätlese at all, in fact very elegant, fresh and almost restrained even. Decanting surely did good for the wine as there was only a tiny hint of struck match on the nose and the drinkability was huge.

April 7, 2016 - Much like the notes on 8/1/2011. No petrol with really solid acid levels, and lots of honey. Super well made Spat! 92+ points.
