  January 10, 2020 - Lovely nose of mature Pinot, palate is now a bit light and astringent but not unpleasant. Should probably have drunk up some time ago, not unduly tired but fruit has started to drop out.

  December 22, 2009 - Decanted for one hour; Closed nose; light and pure with a dark red fruit profile, medium bodied and nicely concentrated; some earth and mushrooms, good acidity; nice savory medium finish. On day 2, still no nose to speak of and a similar palate. This will likely hold on for a while. OK but nothing special, won't buy more.

  July 16, 2008 - This was stunning from cask and even in the context of 2005 Burgundy stood out for its charm, supple fruit and delicious intensity. I need to be a bit more patient with this one - plenty of primary fruit and siky tannin but not yet exhuberant, best to wait until 2009 before cracking the next bottle.
