Community Tasting Notes 3

May 26, 2010 - Powerful Barbera. Profile of red berries, juicy, round and balanced with nice acidity. Lengthy finish. This is a barbera that has benefited from a few years in the cellar. Good, but expensive. 89+

April 3, 2009 - Very powerful for Barbera, lots of red ripe cherries with a nice sweetness, dry mouth and long tasty finish.

November 9, 2008 - Popped and Poured. Color: Dark red. Nose: Obviously italian. A little barnyard. Some sour red fruit. Some chocolate. Flavor: Delicious sour dark cherries, deep clay-type earth dominates the center of the palate. Big grip on a lengthy finish with a clay reflux. This is good for the price.
