Community Tasting Notes 11

August 31, 2012 - Slow-O 1 hour, served blind. Not a favorite among the 12 blind wines -seems a bit tired. A shame, but prolly a factor of (questionable) storage more than anything else.

February 12, 2012 - Best one I've had yet. Some slight muddiness in previous bottles are not apparent in this one. It is a dark clear ruby red that is black at the centre of the glass.

December 9, 2011 - Boring wine. No aroma and flavor.

March 15, 2010 - This bottle was not nearly as nice as the prior one. It didn't seem damaged. It had no nose, no flavor, and was very flat.

February 10, 2010 - I learned from other tasting notes and decanted for 2 hours. The initial nose was very earthy, mushroomy and not pleasant. The wine opened up beautifully and was quite delightful. Very round flavors and smooth.
