Community Tasting Notes 20

September 28, 2020 - Still stunning! Delicate nose of fruit with just a hint of Willamette barnyard. Silky smooth with a long finish on totally resolved tannins. Lovely taste of mixed berry fruit, still lively, with minimum petroleum. A great year from a great maker, and quite delicious with careful cellaring (we bought it at the vineyard in 2005). A minor DRC (Romanee St Vivant, ie) doesn't taste any better. Congratulations to Doug Tunnell.

July 21, 2018 - Simply stunning last night. Has the stuffing to go 5 more years to permit more secondary development. I wish I had more

April 24, 2016 - Consumed w Passover seder. This bottle was alive and well. Good not great length but great presence on the palate with fun balance of fruit and earthy secondary flavors. enjoyable.

December 28, 2014 - PnP. Good right out of the bottle but bouquet faded fast, gained weight and exhibited savory notes.

(Brick House Pinot Noir Les Dijonnais) Solid tart red fruit and cherry nose; tasty tart red fruit, mineral and iron palate; medium-plus finish
