  January 26, 2011 - I've loved Boyer-Martenot bourgogne blanc forthe qpr, and the B-M premier crus for the top-notch quality, but the villages fails to satisfy either constituency - not a big upgrade from the bourg blanc in quality but falling way short of the pc's. Seemed a tad overoaked and harsh, lacking fruit and vibrance.

  October 1, 2009 - Light golden honey. Decanted 15 min. Nose of tart citrus, pinecone, some mineral. Subdued citrus on the palate, nice acidity, pine, hints of underripe pear appear up front with air. I get a harsh sourness about 2/3 of the way thorugh, kind of like pine tar, that started dissipate with air but at least initially dominates the finish. With air, the finish becomes a bit more refined. I'll give this the benefit of the doubt and a longer decant next time.
