February 1, 2024 - Probably WOTN for most. Wine is complete and molded together well right now. An exciting melange of aged wild red berries, sweet damp earth and spice. The juiciness is reinforced by a nice bolt of clean acidity.

Dujac absolutely crushed 1988. An otherwise fairly austere vintage dujac continuously shines in it.

June 1, 2023 - Opened with notes of light roast coffee, hints of capsicum against red fruits and bing cherry. Quite similar to the 89 Roumier Bonnes Mares in character. Silkier and more resolved.

May 2, 2022 - Azura. Slightly cardboard on the nose, which does clear toward dried rose. Clean, sweet palate.

December 23, 2021 - Saline aromatics. No tannins left, heat affected.

August 21, 2020 - Stem and floral aromatics. Incredible intensity of flavor, good balance and with long finish. No trace of astringency that some other 88s possess. Continued to unfurl until the very last drop. A ripe, juicy and addictive old Dujac.
