May 6, 2018 - It is almost disturbing how well this wine is STILL drinking. Still very buttery with a little bit of pear and a hint of apple. I'm sad to see my last bottle go.

November 16, 2016 - The last of our 2007 Rombauer Chardonnay. Very buttery and with hints of ripe pear. Still drinking nicely, surprisingly.

March 7, 2015 - Still my favorite chardonnay overall. Very buttery, with nice lemon notes. Long aftertaste. Still drinking nicely, which is somewhat surprising.

June 2, 2014 - A benchmarch for the big, round, buttery style that we have moved away from.

December 26, 2013 - Fantastic chardonnay. The best and buttery

(Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-no denying the oak & buttered popcorn; w/ sliced apples; TASTE-the butter bandit is here; goopy and over bearing, but an interesting wine; good acidity on the mid-palate, but very goopy on the back-end; I like it; it's a nice Chard, but I feel I can get this buttered oak play for $13-15 Chards; I'm perplexed why this is so popular; GV-87
