Community Tasting Notes 31

  • organicveggie Likes this wine:

July 30, 2016 - No formal notes. Needed to be chilled, but enjoyable. Previous bottle must have been a fluke.

  • organicveggie Does not like this wine:

May 11, 2016 - Lacked the crispness and stony character that I traditionally associated with Sancerre. Middle and finish included a sour note reminiscent of sour beer or farmhouse ales. Maybe flawed bottle?

August 6, 2014 - The focus and minerality have faded a bit. There is still some acidity left, but the wine has become much more honeyed and fatter than it used to be. Still a great effort.

    August 2, 2011 - Excellent SB.

December 27, 2010 - Delicious, balanced and not overly assertive but still with plenty of zing and varietal character.
