While the oak is has settled down it is still intruding and provides notes of vanilla and coconut oil on the nose and it makes the palate tannic and dry. Such a shame, this could have been an interesting wine. La Contadine.

  January 15, 2020 - Opened with severe notes of nail polish - much better on day 2. Still,m this is very much a 2003 wine, very rich, quite alcoholic, but give it air and a solid, fresh fruit enters the picture. I don't see this going anywhere, though, drink up, if you have it.
