October 13, 2007 - The closure is cork and in poor condition (dried out). It broke during decorking, causing great difficulty. Even after straining, there are fine cork particles in the wine. The wine is a deep, rich, golden colour. The flavour is richly sweet, with caramel and butterscotch flavours side-by-side with a wee bit of tartness. Not syrupy-sweet. The finish is medium in length and very pleasant. Excellent (87.5).

Abv 7%. Sugar at harvest 31 degrees Brix. Residual sugar 17%. -

December 24, 2005 - Excellent. Enjoyed after Christmas dinner. Very smooth, excellent. Youthful. Not overly complex but very enjoyable. No oak or spiciness.
