  May 3, 2022 - From Imperial. Cork was dry and brittle but wax capsule kept the wine perfect. Loads of sediment film on the bottle but not much in the way of sediment caught by the strainer. In this format, no signs of age in the color at all. Seemed like a 7 year old wine at most. Very nice black fruits, some dried herbs, almost no Oak, very smooth. This format, in perfect condition, could have lasted another 10+ years.

  July 24, 2016 - From Art's cellar. One-hour decant. Wine was clear. Medium garnet to amber rim. Nose of dusty cranberries and tarragon. Slightly bitter edge at the end of the nose. On the palate, soft; medium-weight with dried cherries and watercress. Licorice in the finish. Balance was okay, but the wine is starting to decline in my opinion.

  March 7, 2015 - This 15 years old, Simi Reserve Cabernet, has been cellared in a controlled temperature cellar, is Medium to dark red, plenty of bouquet. Tannic at opening and it is decanting. No residous.
