November 19, 2016 - This was not too bad when first opened but went way downhill after a few nights in the fridge. Brown in color, muddy and oxidized on the nose and disjointed on the palate. Not much sweetness and a bitter aftertaste. Sadly, this bottle was over the hill.

August 28, 2009 - (audouzed overnight) Quite dark in color, with a nose of nuts, caramel, apricots, and flowers. Still surprisingly fresh, and a bit brash at first, but this polished out over an hour or so. Not oxidized in style. Some pineapple notes came in later. Very fine and late peak. 87 pts.
