May 29, 2020 - dried cherry, plums, some spice, soft tannic backbone. elegant. could have done with more concentration. for the price - excellent value. drink within the next 5 years

February 7, 2018 - Ladies and gentlemen, I think I have tasted THE Brunello (and my oldest one at that). Heavily tertiary game here and rightly so for a 21-year-old banger! Aromas of dried plum, paprika, mushrooms, thyme, cherry griotte and strawberry jam/compote. Now taste it. This is what I call a sex wine. Def. sex wine /noun/ - a wine that you drink with somebody you love and proceed to passionately curb carnal urges with, regardless of any shitty circumstances you might come upon. Nothing can ruin that feeling, not even pouring your cereal into a bowl in the morning and realizing you don’t have milk. That’s how good it is. This BdM is marked by a faultless smoothness that is rarely witnessed. It’s a ménage à trois of sweetness, crispness and refinement. Like eating vanilla ice cream with a fistful of cherries, shaved white truffles and a splash of aged balsamico. Tell me, what gets better than that? By all means, you can’t expect anything to improve in this wine over the course of the upcoming years, but you can enjoy every breathing moment you get with it, because it will enhance your well-being beyond any doubt.
