July 18, 2008 - Simple but bright strawberry / raspberry fruits with some earth. Chinese medicine bitter finish. This is very quaffable stuff and a testament to the wonderful 2005 vintage as even a lesser region such as this is punching above its weightclass. Good.

September 30, 2007 - First Look at Some 2005 Red Burgundy: Drinking nicely. Good balance of red fruit with the acidity and minerality. Clearly a simple wine, but what more can you expect from this level? Probably not a wine for people who don’t like Burgundy.
