  April 11, 2018 - Medium dark red. Ripe black fruit and scorched earth along with a bit of oak and heat. Tasty black berry flavours and a ton of tannins to finish things off.

  April 10, 2018 - I own the 05 and was pleasantly surprised by this 06, which I prefer--more classic than overtly ripe in style. Plummy fruit with toasted barrel and a little cherry pipe tobacco.

  January 19, 2013 - We threw this bottle in to a night of CdPs just for kicks. Holy crap this stuff is good! My last bottle of CCC Stage Coach until my 2012 comes in. I am going to miss the intensity of this wine. Fantastic nose. Unworldly fruit. Hints of leather and chocolate. Absolutely amazing structure. This stuff doesn't seem to change. My first bottle was as good as my last, and this bottle seemed like it had at least a decade, if not more, left in it.

  December 4, 2011 - Nice deep purple. Popped. poured and drank with pasta. Expressive nose but not defined. Dark berries and smooth tannins. This is a big wine. Probably could use a little more time in the cellar.
