March 12, 2022 - La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Small La Paulee pour. Still firm like so many 2005s, was it also slightly dirty?

July 14, 2020 - Quite young still - very structured and a quite a bit of tar on the nose. Already very serious but will soften and have more to give in 5 to 10 years...

April 21, 2017 - Still young with a touch of secondary but will be better with a few more years, say 2020

October 12, 2015 - Intriguing nose of eucalypts, menthol, and mint, backed up with good red and black cherry. Mint continues on the palate with tingling flavors resembling black cherry Halls, in a positive way. Herbal without unpleasant vegetals. Not unduly closed, but like most 2005s is showing very young and powerful at the moment and needs a while.

May 23, 2014 - Red fruits and spice on the nose that features prominent stems that are a bit green and herbal. The palate is still young, shows a silkiness and a trace of salinity. Not quite open for business yet despite a report to the contrary.
