November 22, 2017 - During lunch and Red Burgundy, the owner stopped by and poured from magnum a glass of this wine, nose of black berry, allspice, and sage, same on the palate, big body, typical Bonny's Vineyard, spicy, herbal, rich and intense Cabernet Sauvignon, reminds me of the Silver Oak 1984 and 1986 Bonny's Vineyard, rich, lovely, and a medium/long finish.

April 8, 2012 - Light reddish purple goes clear at the rim. Tannins are largely resolved. Cassis ,red and black fruits in a mid weight package. Not sure there is much reason to wait on this as is seems fully mature.

September 21, 2011 - What a waste. this is the first release of this wine. I purchased prior to release and picked it up at the release party. I store my wine in a pro climate controlled facility. This wine was is an embarrassment and should not have been released by the winery. Thin, sour, no fruit, certainly no terrior...no redeming character

May 14, 2010 - Had this with steak at Capital Grille in Stamford CT. Did not get the chance to decant properly. Refined nose of oak, charcoal. Palate was smooth, if underwhelming-- though would probably have opened up, had we let it breathe for more time. An elegant, smooth wine, if not a particularly memorable one. (0 views)
