December 28, 2017 - Three years after my last magnum of the 2006, this was in better shape. Indeed a point and delicious.

    August 22, 2015 - A coravin sample at Oinoscent

The color is clear just turning goldish.
The nose is clean, med/med+ intensity, ripe stone fruit, orange peel, beeswax, toasted notes, nutty, buttery as well, with time citrus chutney with some flint as well.
The wine is dry, showing med+ body, intensity and acidity, alcohol is 13.50%, the palate follows the nose with ripe stone fruit, mineral and oaky, sweet spice hints, acidity cutting through, citrus jam, lime, limoncello nuances, big bold flavors with a long finish.
Outstanding quality, drinking now but could hold.

May 5, 2015 - Just wanted to note that this is not--contrary to the suggested drinking window--over the hill. A great blend with exceptional texture and flavor.

December 25, 2014 - From a splendid, handsome magnum. Jermann's Tunina was the first great Italian white blend I drank years ago and it remains a favourite. In magnum and from a great vintage I was perhaps hoping for more. All the usual Hermann qualities but surprisingly mature in this format and lacking some vivacity. Enjoyable but not memorable sadly.

(Jermann Vintage Tunina, Venezia Giulia IGT) A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, and Picolit. Intriguing aromas of beeswax, dried pear, cauliflower, and grapefruit emerge on the nose. The palate features moderate acidity and a distinct earthiness, with a graceful entry leading to an explosive finish. Drink over the next five to seven years. (Jermann Vintage Tunina Venezia Giulia IGT) Tight peach nose; ripe tart peach, nectarine, floral and mineral palate with lime; short-medium finish
