March 2, 2013 - Deep garnet color, lovely when opened, better after a couple of hours, still delicious and more rounded after a couple of days (!)

July 17, 2011 - Medium dark garnet. Dark plums and cherries, some Cranraisin, and vanilla. Enjoyable, but not enough complexity to push it into the 90 point range. Drinking well now.

October 21, 2010 - This shows some marinated steak on the nose accompanied by toast and potatoes. It's soft and gentle on the palate despite its youth. Strawberries and bright cherries are accompanied with balanced oak and it all works together to make the wine pretty friendly. The structure is on the lighter side and it dries gently. It's well made and ready to drink now.

August 16, 2010 - Crisp nose shows some red berries but also detected a hint of peach. The palate was well rounded with hints of raspberries and strwberries as well as dark cherries, medium tannins with a long finish. Very nice wine.

June 30, 2010 - Wines of California (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had black currant and leather, licorice and cherry, and a little vanilla at the end. The palate had black currant and licorice, cherry and toasted oak, and a good earthy finish.
