Community Tasting Notes 2

March 2, 2012 - Peppery nose with toasted coconut layered over black cherry and eucalyptus. Savoury palate with long smooth finish and finely balanced tannins. Hints of berry fruit still evident. There's a touch of spiciness too. Drink now

April 14, 2006 - Slightly jammy roasted figs on the nose; palate slightly acidic and 'hot' (i.e. alcoholic), even though it's "only" 14.0%. Finish is firm with beautiful earth and orast coffee notes. Very much a "donut" wine at the moment, hopefully a bit of time will mellow the mid palate.
