December 1, 2023 - Drink up. Clean cork and some sediment in the bottle. Pleasant, but acidity is fading and the wine is starting to come down from peak.

August 29, 2020 - Let’s keep it simple because I have nothing more to say that has not already been said bu “Yum!” It decanted for abt an hour. Last bottle. Drank beautifully.

December 4, 2017 - I am very disappointed by this wine in that it was my last bottle. I remember this wine from about 5 years ago being a pretty tasty fruit bomb...but now it is completely integrated still showing plenty of red and black fruit, a touch of smoke, earth and leather and not a rough edge for miles. Absolute prime drinking window IMHO but with a few years left. Fantastic wine especially for the price...wish I bought a case years ago.

May 27, 2017 - Decanted for about 30 minutes and then served. The color was that of a dark ruby, not quite garnet. The flavors included some black fruit, along with a hint of smoke that paired with a tandori style grilled chicken. A medium bodied wine that probably is near its peak.

December 19, 2014 - Full on the palate; great minerality (with a kind of ferrous bite that marries perfectly to a piece of rare-cooked beef -- this is a wine that needs steakous accompaniment, preferably pepper-encrusted) beneath the round red fruit. Soft and round in the mouth, medium tannins. Modern, for sure, but balanced, with no oak-overwhelm. In a great spot -- probably a year or two left at least but I don't see it developing much from here?
