January 26, 2016 - Like the other 69's in this tasting this put on significant weight and improved with 8+ hrs after decanting. Most improvement is the freshness of the nose, body is nice with generic red fruits and short finish. Give it plenty of air if you have this....

January 26, 2016 - 1969 and 1986 Cali Lunch: A bit of a metallic nose. Dry on the palate. Good shape, but relatively uninspiring.

December 27, 2010 - medium ruby; cigar box, tobacco leaf, leather, cedar, spicy nose; very soft mellow mouth feel, tastes of ripe red cherries, red currants, dusty tannins; slightly dry finish but long and mellow cedar/tobacco leaf flavors.
