January 13, 2011 - Popped & put through the Vinturi. Dark maroon hue. Not an overly expressive nose. Black fruit on the palate, finished a bit tart.

January 15, 2010 - Frangrant prunes and pepper. Full palate of licorice and plums. Lingering, pleasant licorice finish. Balanced and delicious, good food wine. A no brainer purchase in the mid teens.
