December 27, 2012 - Aromas of raspberries, strawberries and creosote explode from the glass. The palate has so much going on. Sassafras, brown sugar, black cherries, framboise, cranberries and raspberry liqueur. There is a gorgeous sweetness to this wine that just lingers on the palate. Unmistakably new world in style. The finish is long, lush and sweet. If you want a domestic Pinot Noir that resembles Burgundy then look elsewhere. If you want a delicious wine that is fun to drink then look no further.

December 24, 2012 - This wine was awful!! maybe old maybe rancid

May 28, 2011 - Gorgeous nose of bing cherry and sandalwood. I love the way this wine tastes with it's signature plum, earth and anise. Hugely Burgundian. It's one of my favorite pinots. Steve Kanzler is kicking ass. His wine is definitely the best interpretation of his vineyard's terroir (better than Kosta Browne's!)

February 6, 2011 - Fantastic - dark crimson with aromatic nose of flat cherry cola. Core of dark berries and soft fruit. Can't see this getting any better.

October 29, 2010 - Good nose, loads of fruit - plum, candy, cherry. Very nice PN with no rough edges. Popped and poured - might be interesting with some time in a decanter.
