April 27, 2024 - One of the best aromas I have ever seen in my wine "career"
Not too complicated, but very strong and well defined aromas of red and black cherry, plum, figs, raisins, tobacco and milk chocolate.
Taste? Love-hate relationship.
One sip is full of juicy red cherry, strawberry, and red currant. The next sip is full of acidity and black pepper. Definitely the wine is over the top.
Big disappointment after wonderful, ageless smell. -

February 28, 2020 - Rather over the top with raisiny sweet aromas. Slight cabbage nose. Better in the mouth though, good acidity and some fine tannin with decent fruit. Drink up.
