July 21, 2020 - Found in a corner of cellar. Long gone. Down the drain.

December 10, 2017 - Clear garnet color. Red cherry pipe tobacco on the nose. Palate of cherry and blackberry cobbler with a hint of tarry smoke. Medium body. Medium minus acidity. Medium minus tannins on mid- and back palate. A wee bit flabby (just this side) for my taste, but still a good accompaniment to the traditional tomato-based foods we Americans like with it.

March 7, 2015 - Subtle and Smooth. Aged longer than expected but still enjoyable!

March 27, 2014 - Clear garnet red with bright ruby-esque highlights. Full nose of cherry and cedar echoed on the palate. Very mild tannins and moderate acidity supporting a medium full mouthfeel. A smooth easy drinker with Italian or other tomato-based or Mediterranean fare. Doing surprisingly well nine years on (what a QPR!) but drink up by next year.

November 6, 2013 - Clear garnet color. Cherry and cedar on the nose. Light body, medium plus acidity, negligible to no tannins. Cherry Ludens and a hint of mocha. Smooth mane satisfying with pizza or light Italian fare. Very good for the price. Drink up unless you're experimenting.

Woot Wine on the Thunder Show, Episode #501, 7/15/2008 (link) 87+ points(WOOT Cellars Wannabe) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-good fruit; little sour cherry & cellar dust; little Cocoa Puffs action; TASTE-good fruit on the attack; a little hot on the back-end, roasted pepper & sun dried tomato action; this is for folks who like Chianti, but think it doesn't have enough fruit; classic pizza wine; solid; doesn't come across as fake Sangiovese; GV-87+
