September 25, 2012 - Decanted 2hrs, semi-transparent dirty crimson color, earthy nose, medium mouthfeel, medium length finish with light tannins, some spice/acid but seemed flat, held up well against spag with meat sauce, not a delicate sipper, I'm not a Syrah fan, probably past prime.

October 1, 2008 - Interesting combination of sangiovese, merlot and syrah. A bit flat a first but opens up nicely after about 30 minutes with cherry, a bit of earth and leather, and some tannins on the finish. Good price point at about 8 bucks.
