September 19, 2014 - This petite sirah was not as monolithic as many are. A couple clear layers of black and blue fruits with sweet vanilla Oak on the finish. Sensing a little malo in the process but not a ton. Unfortunately, the alcohol really also came through on the finish and knocked it down a point and a half for me, especially as more air added to the alcohol.
